The electric guitar is not just for boys, recently we have seen a massive surge in the number of girls who are wanting to take up this awesome musical instrument. This is partly due to such female stars like Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Momsen to name just a few.
Everyone knows that fashion and music go hand in hand and of course this has played a big part in the increasded popularity of the guitar among girls too, with the rock chic look being a perenially cool and much adopted style all around the world.

The Daisy Rock Debutante Rock Candy is a guitar designed with the female beginner elcetric guitarist in mind. It is a very cool shape indeed, loosely based in the single cutaway design of the Gibson Les Paul.
As mentioned previously all teh guitars in the Daisy Rock range are ligh in weight and incorporate narrow necks which are ergonimcally perfect for the smaller hands of young girls so this guitar is just perfect.
This guitar is available with either single or double humbucking pickups, either of which will provide adequate rock n roll tones that your beginner will enjoy. The last guitar available as a shortscale option is the Debutnat Star. This is another guitar that incorporates an unusual shape which is of course, a star! Any young girl of a certain age will be familiar with Hello Kitty, the cute fictional Japanese character with the oversized head.
There many manufacturers who are licensed to make products bearing the instantly recognizable Hello Kitty character and one such company is Squier who are an affiliate of Fender and make a couple of guitars with featuring Hello Kitty designs.
The first guitar is the Fender Squier Hello Kitty Mini Electric Guitar which is available in Black.
This guitar is great for many reasons, the first of which is that its short scale makes it ideal for beginner elctric guitarists and its light weight makes it ideal for girls who need to be able to hold an instrument comfortably.
