The bass guitar is a great instrument that is similar in appearance to the electric guitar but embodies a longer neck and only four strings as opposed to six. These forur strings are the first four that are found on any guitar which are E, A, D, and G.
They come in many designes but the most popular is that which is based on Fender’s classic Precision Bass.

As cool as the electric guitaris there are going to be some girls who would rather play the bass guitar due to the fact that it has less strings or that its deeper sound appeals to them or perhaps even that it looks cool to play. There are some great female bass players out there such as Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie, Gwen Stefani) among many others.
So if you or your nearest and dearest rock goddess wannabe wants to play bass and loves the colour pink then you are in luck because there is a good choice of pink bass guitars out there to choose from. Here is a selection.

Daisy Rock Debutante Rock Candy Electric Bass Guitar – Atomic Pink
First up is this great Daisy Rock pink bass guitar from the same Debutante entry level series of guitars that we talked about in our article about girls electric guitars. Like all excellent beginner models it is very affordable yet fully functional and made to teh same exacting standards as all of the other guitars from the Daisy Rock stable of musical instruments designed by girls for girls.
The guitar embodies Daisy Rock’s slim and narrow neck design meaning it is shaped to perfectly fit the smaller hands of girls and teh lightweight body means that it is comfortable to hold when playing sitting down or when standing up and being used with a guitar strap.
The emphasis in such a guitar really is on fun and the colour alone will be inspiring to aspiring femal bass players of any age.
In terms of specifications it is simple but very effective. It has one Daisy Rock bass humbucker which can be controlled by a master volume knob, it has a solid bolt on 22 fret rosewood neck with dot inlays and quality chrome hardware like the bridge and tuners which will help keep the tuning of the guitar consist whilst you rock out. The Atomic Pink sparkle finish really sets off the Debutante Rock Candy Electric Bass beautifully.

Dean Custom Zone Bass, Flourescent Pink
Next up is this uber cool, retro looking flourescent pink bass made by Dean Guitars. This bass is about as eye catching as they come and would not look out of place in of of the unforgettable rock or metal music videos of the 80s. The great thing about it is that pretty much everywhere we have looked it is very affordably priced in the beginners electric guitar range meaning that you can rock it on a budget.
The most striking thing we notice and absolutely love about this pink bass guitar is that the colour of the fingerboard matches the colour of the body which is very unusual indeed, especially for a guitar of this price. It certainly makes a change from the maple or rosewood necks that almost every other guitar has and is what makes this pink electric bass guitar stand out amongst the others. The neck also features black, block inlays or fretboard markers as opposed to the dot markers that are again more commonly associated with electric guitars and basses.
The die cast black hardware is of the high quality that we would associate with Dean guitars, being that Dean make some of the best instruments on the market, and looks great against the flourescent pink finish of the guitar’s body.
The sound is produced by a split Dean bass pickup and is controlled by volume and control knobs.

Austin Bazaar Electric Bass Pack with 15 Watt Amp – Pink
